5 Must-Have Coutur-able Coats for the Cold

Flirty, girly and oh-so stylish surfaced this season in outerwear.  Lines are clean, hemlines are flirty, details feminine.  They quite frankly made me Zoloft-happy that the cold weather arrived…

It was hard to narrow the list to 5, but after sifting through the season’s finest – here are our faves!

5 Must-Have Coutur-able Coats for the Cold Weather:

1. Banana Republic Grey Fit-and-Flare Bow Coat, $250
You had me at “bow” – the center set bow belt couldn’t be any sweeter on this “it” coat from Banana Republic.

2. The Odells Nolita Coat at Anthropologie, $428
Faux fur and floral brocade made us feel very Audrey Hepburn when we tried on this vintage-style stunner at Anthropologie.

3. Alexander McQueen Wool Crepe Flounce Coat, $2450
The mod high neckline balances beautifully with the flounce hem and makes for a breathtaking McQueen creation.

4. Ted Baker London Vivaine Peplum Hem Coat, $525
Pink in color with double-breasted rows of matching buttons and a flirty hemline – we felt ultra-fem in this Ted Baker design (PS I purchased this for me!)

5. Alice + Olivia Evana Coat with Fur Trim, $996
We loved the versatility of this Alice + Olivia design – over a pair of leather pants, it took on a chic modern look. But when paired with a chic a-line dress and pumps, old world charm screamed off the fur lining (which btw is removable) and the shorter cuff length.

Happy Cold Weather Style!
